That I have no idea, I just assumed it was Kendall also.
I know the bulk oil was kendall, that's what they put in my truck and I watched them. That is when I asked what oil they put in them.

Just watch out at the dealer, I just had my first oil and filter change, and the jerk didn't change the old filter. I marked it with a white crayon with a T1, for Toyota 1st oil change, and you guessed it, when I got home and crawled under her, there was my mark on the filter plain as day. You should have seen the service managers face when I tore him a new one. Made them change the oil and filter again on the spot, they tried some lame excuse like the guy was confused etc... But , of course I didn't buy one ounce of their bullshit, and told them that....Watch em,, they will cut corners whenever they can, at your expense......

I'm not disagreeing with you as I can't say with any certainty who makes Toyota's oil.

However, I don't think Wiki Answers constitutes any sort of "proof".

i know what you mean i requested the synthetic oil, i got back in my truck after they told me they were giving me the standard toyota oil so i assumed they put it in my truck. Next thing i know is they put the regular oil in the truck and put the synthetic oil in a box in my truck so i was real pissed !! Needless to say they screwed it up pretty bad and had to rechange it to put in synthetic

Ya, things like that drive me crazy, I would rather do it myself and know its done right. Can't believe they actually put it in the box in your truck.

i know what you mean i just thought "maybe" a complementary oil change would be a good thing to take advantage of instead of having to do it myself but now i see i need to check EVERYTHING when they do it. They assumed i just wanted to buy some synthetic oil to sit in the cab of my truck

Ya, sad its like that. You should be able to trust the dealer of all places, with such a simple task.
