    i have an sr5.. no bed plug for me. i do have one of those power inverters that plugs into the cig lighter.

    sounds like you could use the really really long extension cord, or you could try the inverter.

    Oh wait how bout hooking up a few 9 volts.

    solar power..... the window only opens or closes when the sun's out.

    Update to my prior reply:

    I installed my door sill scuff protectors this weekend which involved popping up the trim at the base of each door. Takes about three seconds per sill plate, just lift up and they pop off. Underneath there's a wire channel containing a wire bundle running between the front and back of the cabin. On each side.

    So yes, running wires from the rear window to someplace close to the drivers dash is in fact so easy.

    I've done some challenging wire runs on my own vehicles (I'm no professional), this one would rank as "trivial".
