First post here and I've got a couple of questions for you.

My name is Scott and I've creeped around this site long enough I figured it was time to make an account.

I just got my hands on an absolutely spotless black 2002 TRD 4x4 double-cab about 4 months ago. Im just coming up on 80,000 miles. I'll get some pictures up here soon enough but first I wanted to get some opinions on what kind of deal I got. I paid $12,700 for the truck to a private seller when it had 77k on it.

Anyways I'm looking for a nice truck cap for the thing but I can't seem to find anything used whatsoever. Is there a brand that offers a decent deal for new? If I have to pay another 2k for a cap I might make a jump to the 4runner because I need it enclosed.

I think you gotta pretty nice deal. I looked for about 3 months for a used one and finally bought a new TRD Off Road after most sellers wanted what you gave and way more for trucks that had way over 100,000 on them. good luck

For the milage and if it was clean I say it's a pretty good deal. Hope you enjoy it. Check Craigslist for good deals on toppers. Good luck.
