    Hello to all. Looks like this is a great forum with a lot of great info. I own a 2004 single cab 4x4, base model, auto tranny, 2.7 engine. It is gold in color with the black grill, bumpers, and fender flares. I have had it about a year and it now has 42,000 miles on it. I am very happy with the truck, it suits my needs well and has so far proven to be quite tough for a small truck.

    It does have a few minor issues with the brakes I need to take care of, but besides that has been rock solid. I will be posting in the first gen section about it. Also in the regional section for the opinion of a dealer that has a good sevice department in my area. I have the platinum warranty that has been transfered to my name.

    It is a great thing to have this site as a resource for info on my Tacoma!

    Sorry for the delay on the pics. I now have a working digital camera again :cool:. Truck has a bedliner and tonneau cover. I have some ideas in mind for this truck:
    -Black 16" rims with real A/T tires.
    -Black out all the chrome badges (except for the one on the black front grille).
    -Black window visors.
    -Audio behind the seats would be nice. I would like to install/wire up some high quality 6x9's somehow. There is not much room back there and I do not want to waste the little space I have. Already have a cd/mp3 I need to install.

    Any other ideas?

    Nice lookin truck! Shouldnt be too hard to install rear speakers. I did it in my 2000 reg cab. I used a small 3 way surface mount speaker, and it sounded great.

    Thanks! My uncle lives in San Diego. I bet you miss the ridiculous amounts of snow we get each winter, haha. My 4x4 Taco rips right through it nicely.
