Been wanting a Tacoma for years now. too broke during school, then spent a year saving for a wedding...
after months and months of pleading with the wife, I finally was able to go get one.
Certified used with 18k miles (may as well be brand new in my mind).
Already spending too much money with mods/upgrades.
    WeatherTech all-weather mats all around.
Infinity Reference 6x9 components in front (many thanks to this site and ********* vids for help with the tweeter install and understanding the harness) and 6.5s in the back.
Used the factory dash speaker to create a cardboard template for tweeter adapter, then held in place with flush mount that came with the speakers.

Anyways... I look forward to spending too much time on this site, adding to my never ending list of things I want to do to the truck.

Welcome to the best forum, for the best truck! Your patience has paid off, congratulations on the truck. The magnetic gray is such an awesome color on the Tacoma.

Welcome, how do the infinity's sound, I've always been an infinity guy and have looked at these but haven't pulled the trigger yet, I don't think I've seen anyone running them here(probably is I just haven't caught it) also do you have factory jbl?

They're great! I too have always gone with infinity. I had the Kappa 6.5 components in my Xterra and my civic before that. They were FANTASTIC, but those tweeters were a pain to install in most cars so I left them in the X when I sold it to a buddy of mine. I didn't have the $350-400 for Kappa 6x9 components so I went with the Reference series. I've never had 6x9s, so I was shocked by the impressive bass output. Id highly recommend them. Massive improvement over factory, even without an amp.
    No factory JBL.
