Hey y’all. I’ve got an 01 pre, looking to rebuild the front and back suspension, a first for me. I’ve don’t quite a bit of research here on the forum and think I’ve settled on what I want, now for the purchase and work. I don’t do much off-roading although some farm roads back in the sticks are kinda that way, I’m a home inspector who does LOTS of miles. I’m thinking about 5100’s, new ball joints upper and lower and tie rods. No lift right now, but the 5100’s allow me to go up an inch if I need to and hopefully they’ll be a smooth ride. My tires are 265/70/17 and they don’t rub at all presently. (FJ rims, those and Geolanders were $150. Killer deal.)

First question: Does anyone know if Bilstein 5100’s are on sale anywhere? If not I’ll probably order from Headstrong, I found them here.

Second: Is there a best way to order the ball joints and tie rods on-line? I’m new to all of this and don’t know much about the various coupon codes or the best dealer to use.

Of course good ball joints, no cheap junk. I don’t want to beat that horse...

    Thanks,
    Mike
