So today was the first time I got scared for my Tacoma's health.

I went to help my buddy move his tool box from his shop since he got laid off (heavy duty mechanic). The bright idea they came up with was to lift it with an overhead crane. While I was standing out of the way since I had no saftey gear the jerk proceded to lift the tool box with the crane and clip the wheels on the back end of my truck. Well wouldn't you know it the whole tool box came crashing down into my bed. It hit my side rail which has a velcro strip for my tonoue cover that got a little dent in it but can easily be bent back up. I just heard a super loud crash and came running. It is a good thing that I took my tailgate off to load or that would have been trashed for sure.

Other than the small dent in the rail everything else was fine! I was very happy with the way the box stood up. Even some of the shop guys were impressed with how it took the beating. We then just strapped the tool box in pace on it's side. My buddys top box got bent outa shape pretty bad so he might have to get a new one soon, although he doesn't use he tools right now anyway haha.

Anyways first real dent I have put in her!

    Were you like this
I could just picture you saying WTF?
Glad to hear it wasn't anything serious. I'd rather have your scenario than my 3 door dings on one door. :D

As long as nothing else got damaged just knock the little dent out yourself, it'll be more worthwhile and gives you an excuse to spend some quality time with the Taco! :D

(then go kick him in the nuts)

Haha yea, the dent is minor the cover still sits perfectly cause the velcro stayed straight. When we got to my buddies uncle's shop they kinda gave us a funny look like what kind of dumbasses load a toolbox in lying down full of tools. I will just bend the piece back my self shouldn't be too bad. Probably wait till the day I install my Hi-Lift.....which if if wasn't -5 degrees out I would be doing right now.
