I have a 2010 TRD Sport 4 Door with 18K, when do I need the first major maintenance? Is there anything that you can do to save money on the first maintenance (other than change oil)? If there is a thread on this please point me there. Thank you!

I think the first maintainence is at 30k which invloves replacing the spark plugs, which is easy to do (There's also a guide here somewhere). In general follow the maintainence guide that you should have gotten with the manual.

I imagine 2010 is similar but Toyota Care website has specfics; essentialy the paper manual in computer form.

Thats the same for my 2008 DC Sr5 4x4 so Im guessing they are identical. Thank goodness I dont have the lsd. I really didnt feel like changing the oil in there.

Also get the denso plugs from the dealer they where cheaper for me then autozone and advance auto and they didnt have to be ordered from the factory. Good luck. Im doing my 30K this weekend and it should be easy. Hardest part will be the plugs because there is no lsd for me..
