Looks great! Thanks for the followup report on how this turned out for you OP. I've always had really good results with those paint pens.

Thanks for the recommendation on the pens. Used the site you linked to. Wasn't impressed with their customer service, but the product was great. They told me it shipped when it actually hadn't. The email support came off as making me feel like I was an idiot for asking when the pens would ship after I waited 2 weeks and heard nothing from them.

I discovered this just a few hours ago:

I'll be parking in the far far corner of my work parking lot from now on.

I want to know what I can do to "repair" the damage? I'm mostly interested in preventing any future rust. If possible, removing some of the "black" (I assume the other cars paint) from this scratch. I don't expect it to look like new. I honestly don't even care that much. It's a truck, so whatever.

I won't be making an insurance claim on this damage. I don't want a body shop to fix it. But I am curious on what I can do to improve the look of the damage and reduce chances of rust happening at this spot in the future. Do I have to worry about rust at all?

You can always get a rear high clearance bumper and that part of the bumper would be chopped off just saying..
