The day I brought it home it got a scratch when my Great Dane wanted to look in the bed I think the ring on his collar scratched it while he was standing on the bumper. Good thing I don't care much about a small scratch more to come.

Hey.... Sorry to hear that but now she's broke in! I live by the philosophy of never fixing the first scratch or you will jinx yourself for more scratches to come...
I remember my first scratch/dent was when I backed into my sisters neighbors mailbox because I was distracted....

Least your first scratch wasnt caught on camera from a groundskeeper at work using the front bumper as a guide for his lawn mower.... i got a line from under one fog light all the way to the other.

Did get 880 bucks from the companies insurance though.... made it a little easier to stomach.

My mom hanged a fishing bobber with some fishing line. Little smaller than a tennis ball.

I know the feeling. It will get better.
I'm at the point now it I can't remember when or how most of mine got there.
I think the chips and scratches are breeding some times?

I got a few scratches on mine already. I just got over it since it is 2 years old now. I wish I could keep it in perfect condition but that's unrealistic. As long as everything can be replaced or fixed Im okay.

First scratch on my 15 DCSB.. stubborn trailer hitch. It was stuck on the ball. When I finally got it free, the tongue flipped up and the trailer rolled a bit. 3.5 inch gouge across the tailgate. No paint left in that scratch

went to my truck in our private lot we use for work after a night out and there was a black dakota parked probably not even a foot from my passenger door This lot holds, if i had to guess, 200 cars, and there were about 175 other spots he could have parked). As i was walking up to my truck i thought to myself, guarantee that idiot hit my door with his door as he got out. Checked it out and sure enough there was a nice chip in the paint right in the same plane as the bottom corner of his door. Got in my truck, pulled out of my spot, put it in my park, got out and gave him one back...all i had was a quarter in my pocket, made it work. Then kicked it for good measure. Idiot.

My dad owned a dozen pickups while I was living at home. The FIRST thing he did when he brought one home was toss a concrete block, from across the yard, into the bed. It would slide, bounce, and jostle all over the place...scratching and pitting as it went. He always said: "it's a truck...bound to happen some time". Seemed to make him feel better when something else scratched the paint.

By the way, I have NOT done that with any of the half dozen trucks I bought myself...

I totally understand where you're coming from cuz their were times I wondered if I should teach fawktards real lessons. Fortunately, I live with the believe that I must forgive (including the fawktards that have no regards for the properties of others) to be forgiven. I know, as stupid as that sounds, it is true.

I got my first scratch when I was out playing on a lake bed and tried to cross a small stream that ran into the lake. I got out and looked at it before I crossed, but when my front tire hit bottom it sank and when I continued forward a big rock that I thought I could easily clear tore a hole in the black plastic piece on my bumper and broke some if the clips. It's in the left corner. Not a big hole but I know it's there.

When I park my truck, i go way out of the way to avoid everybody, pristine,no dings. So someone would have to go way out of their way to ding my truck. The first one to do so, loses their wipers, antenna and anything else i can get my hands on. There is a steep price to pay for not giving a sh*t about the other person.
