Man, I fear my first door ding on the daily.

I live in a downtown area with bars and restaurants all over. No designated parking either, only street parking.

Luckily I bought my DCLB used, so there were already some nicks to help cope with future scratches.

I feel for the OP. Ive been there before. And all I can do is tell myself as i look in the bathroom mirror while I wipe away tears "Its ok, remember its a truck."

Just dont do what I do and constantly go back to look for it, hoping it either miraculously goes away, or you look at it enough that you grow numb to it.

My brand new rig is sitting in lomg term parking at the airport until we can reunite tomorrow. I took license plate photos of the cars next to mine and have no problem making it my life's mission to hunt them down.

It's gonna happen eventually but I'll be super pissed if it happens before the honeymoon is over - or before I get the chance to mark it up myself.

Feel your pain OP as I wait for the inevitable.........
