hi, so I bought a pre owned 2015 trd with 53,000miles.. since I wasn’t sure what the previous peeps had done maintenance wise, as soon as I bought it I had my mechanic do the following:
    1. Change out the new motor oil to Mobil 1 with BG motor oil treatment (dealer had just done a oil change but I wasn’t sure if they used synthetic)
    2. BG air induction cleaning package
    3. Power steering flush
    4. Radiator coolant flush
Everything else looked good... but in the back of my mind there was a nagging feeling about the spark plugs sooo did my research, came across the tutorial here and purchased the tools and materials needed to change my plugs.. so I finally got around to change
(Now at 58,000 miles) them and to my amazement but not really, the plugs were never changed.. Ngk on one side and densis on the other... ngk’s look more beat up.. so being that the plugs were basically changed at 60,000 instead of 30,000 how do these look to y’all? Denso on left Ngk on right..

Changed all drain plugs to Dimple Magnetic plugs UNI filter on air pump
I just changed my plugs at 60000 Miles ,also but I have the 4 L engine your plugs look just normal wear and tear.
Enjoy ,coloration could be from the fuel that you're using, I'm in Connecticut so the regional blend might be different for you, enjoy your truck

A little of this and a little of that.
Plugs with 58K on them look normal. Good job on getting then changed! I have used several of the tutorials on this website/forum to keep my Tacomas maintained.

Thanks Hardscrabble! With the right tools it took me about an hour. Second time changing the spark plugs on a vehicle- first time was my wife’s car (2014 civic- sooo easy) a month ago as a practice run before changing them on the taco.. lol..
    The tutorials here are great!
