Long time lurker on this forum, but I finally pulled the trigger on a 16 DCLB TRD Sport 4x4!

My entire post college years, I’ve been a full size truck guy, but finally made the wise decision to downsize and upgrade to the Taco.

A couple of questions/ issues. And I know, I could search and find the answers, but the is a way to introduce myself and get some direct answers.

    1) it looks like the previous owner did a poor job on the plastic dip on the grill. Washed the bugs off the truck from the ride home from dealer, and the below happened. Did he do a poor job?

I bought a TRD Pro grill just now, does it come with the bezel?

    2) I want a 2”-3” lift all around, keeping the slight factory rake, is there a kit for this? Most I find level the truck.

Thanks and looking forward to hundreds of thousands of miles in this truck!

Welcome to TW...Yep poor plasti-dip job and I don’t think that includes the bezel.

    Welcome!

As for the lift, the consensus I see is to get in touch with Marie at @HeadStrong Off-Road. I hear nothing but the best! My buddy went through them and was very happy.

    Thanks guys.

What are my options to get a black bezel? I can’t find one online.

Is there a better way than the plasti dip?

The previous owners attempt has me second guessing the quality.

I wouldn’t plasti-dip anything on the front of my truck that was going to require extra scrubbing to get bug shit off, that’s why I recommended painting it.I have however dipped all my badges and no problems yet after several washes.

You don't use a bezel when you install the the pro grille.
