    I am looking for the transmission tune for gear hunting
    Just got a 2023 Tacoma TRD Sport. Absolute beautiful truck. Need to lift the back a few inches and tune the transmission. But love it

    I am looking for the transmission tune for gear hunting
    it looks bad, but the boat only weighs 2,200 lbs. towed with a Colorado Z71 with no problem at all. Squats this truck worse for some reason

    boat trailer tongue weight is only about 220 pounds. The truck looks squatted long before the boat is on it. The boat only dropped the rear height by 2 inches.

    I am taking delivery of a 2023 Sport Premium Shortbed with dealer installed TRD Lift kit in a couple weeks, so don't know about the new trucks. I do have a 2013 Sport TRD Offroad that carries 350 lbs and still has 1" of rake. Others will have more experience with Gen 3 trucks, but I'd be tempted to go back to the dealer. Seems like something might need attention.

    I am looking for the transmission tune for gear hunting
    Only addition was wheels and tires so far, I am going to install a 2” lift on the rear very soon and considering also doing a add a leaf. It towed pretty good as long as I controlled the throttle on the hills with 5/6 locked out it didn’t search much and running 70 mph, boat is 18’ single axel trailer. I only got 10.5 mpg , but it is a small truck ‍♂️. I will also be doing the OTT tune which should help a little with the mpg. I will be done with her after that, she’ll be perfect!!!
