    Hey All! My friend told me about this forum so I thought I'd finally join. I'm a 1st-time tacoma owner and I purchased a 2020 Tacoma SR with 4x4 (white). I know nothing about trucks but this forum and youtube has been helping me to decide what modifications to do first. I'm open to take any recommendations so feel free to message me or comment through this post. Looking to learn more and meet some new friends!image.jpg

    Welcome aboard, btw why did you get a SR with 4x4? if your getting 4x4 you might as well go for the Off-Road Edition for the crawl controls.

    Good question, mainly because of budget and me still getting a new tacoma. But also I wanted to lift it myself and get separate parts for it.

    I suppose its better than not having 4x4 on a 30k+ truck if your limited by budget but there are other things that change when you go from SR to SR5 at least (like the radio ive heard is bigger and better on the SR5+) and going from SR5 to Off-Road also gives you off road tires, rims, and the power outlet on the truck bed which only the off-road trim has and is good for putting a mini fridge in the truck bed. The Off-Road model also doesnt have the black piece under the front bumper (its removed for off-roading clearance) and the skid plates on the off-road model are a little thicker.
