    I have been lurking these forums for a little while and thought it was time to make an account since I just bought my first Tacoma.

    She isn't new, but she's all paid for and all mine.

    Specs:
    2001 xtra cab
    v6 4x4
    5 speed manual
    1-Owner before me bought it new in his 60's
    144K miles

    Looking forward to learning more from this community.

    Thanks JJ. The frame looks solid, no rust at all really.

    How does one "take care of the frame"? apply an undercoating?
