Happy to be part of this group, but man am I getting ripped left and right by other Toyota enthusiasts, I ended up buying a 2021 SR5 4CYL 4x2 which I guess was a massive mistake, lucky for me I live in Florida so I never saw the need for a 4x4 I never thought about the displacement when buying it cause it was replacing my 17’ mustang, and comparing the 2 would be crazy, cause either way I’m losing power, and the Tacoma is 10 times more realistic for my needs, my main reason for buying it was to throw a roof rack on it and get back into kayaking like I used to years ago when I had an SUV, makes me super happy how much you can modify these things, not sure where to start, what do you guys think I should do for modifications as a newbie? Other than trade it in for a
V-6 4X4. LOL I’ve heard that about 20 times already.

Thank you in advance, any tips and input would be helpful

Welcome aboard, I wouldn’t trade my 2.7L for a V6, it’s a smooth running engine known for its reliability!

Mostly 340,000 miles of wear on the '96. A sharp looking Gasshole for the '21
Tomorrow's headline: "Florida Man outfits Tacoma with Custom Alligator Rack, Arrested for duffle bag stuffed with Contraband"
Or start small, say a console tray and a Meso-Gasshole.
