Running 285/70/17 w 2.25” lift. Rub in reverse at full lock and when I hit decent bumps. Henceforth, Doing CMC for the first time, a little nervous to chop on the frame on my 2019 Taco. Any tips or trick would be appreciated!

By flex, assuming you mean pull shock and jack axle?

It’s pretty simple. Take your time and double check your cuts. I made a video on it if interested.

Do not cut, and fold your punch weld either, if you end up doing that too (might be needed) Just bent it out and the fender liner covers it up.

Sweet truck. Solid video, excited to get it done. Didn’t think the rub would bother me at first, 4 months later it drives me crazy!

Got’er done. Side note, my welds are horribly ugly. Need practice there, thanks for the tips TacomaDad.

Man I picked up a welder to make a shifter for my tacobox so I’m still working on welding myself. Good thing is a grinder makes them look niiiceee lol. No problem man, glad it could help you.
