    Hey everyone,
Just joined and am not used to reaching out via the interwebs using a forum. Here goes nothing though.
I have a 2017 TRD Sport 4x4 that I have tried to do everything myself with. I had a buddy help me install my 6" rough country suspension lift and put on my 33x12.5's. Ive been doing a LOT more off roading and semi overloading, if you will, and extra lights would definitely be a welcomed addition. So my question is, what do I need, how do I do it. lol. I have been trying to read @pc3coyote 's amazingly descriptive thread, but im more of a visual learner. I have a buddy that has done some electrical work on other cars and trucks but I want to kinda of get some Taco feedback on what you guys have done.

Rock lights, I ordered off Amazon. Cheap $12 AAIWA bed lights that has 8 pieces. I want to connect these to the cargo light switch that's already there and if possible the dome light as well.... on @pc3coyote thread, it looks like I need 4-lead ampler wiring harness and a push button switch? also, a @DSIM dome light harness... Is that it?

I am ordering the baja designs squadron sports and the switch the I will put in the blank under that little cubby on the driver side... do I need anything else?

Ive seen some guys running blue sea fuse blocks.... is that a thing? Just don't wanna run too much or drain the battery.

Again, any help would be greatly appreciated!

No need for a DSIM gadget if you connect the added LED to the Cargo Lamp switch. You'll need an additional relay for the added Rock LED's. Attach the relay same as the relay to the Cargo Lamp. Whatever position you leave the Cargo switch the added LED will do the same.

Anyways, I would use a wire harness like this, in the post above, 15 bucks on Amazon. I have two of them now. I use them with the Cali Offroad switches. I ran one power wire, off the battery, to both harness. Probably a cleaner way to do it. If I run any more harnesses I will have to look into it. ...hang on I will get a photo of the harnesses, probably get some chuckles.

Not fancy but it works. I guess, looking at the photo, I could at least clean up some of that excess wire.
