Yo so I joined this club after dreaming of this day for the past 10 years. Ended up with an SR 3.5 v6 4x4. Wish I could afford more, but the fact that I was homeless about five years ago with a credit score in the 400s and was able to walk in a dealership and purchase this with no issues is more important to me. With that being said, I'm looking at sr builds through this site and am completely lost. My shortlist to upgrade is obviously wheels/ tires.. headlights, and would LOVE to find a trd honeycomb grill.. any other suggestions? Glad to be here.

Welcome. Also don't limit your searches to SR builds, these truck all have the same bones, so anything is possible. You said honeycomb grill, what exactly are you referring to? Pic? Because grille replacement is very popular and that should be easy to find here or local on CL or FBM.

I love the SR, it is like a blank canvas.
There is an SR thread on here that I go drool in every once in awhile.
Rims and decent tires look aggressive on the SR since no flares makes them stick out a bit.

You might find someone on here to swap their trd grille for the sr. I've read a few posts of members doing that. Enjoy the sweet truck. I really like the way it looks now.

My suggestion falls generally with what most here would say, and that is to start small and functional. If you haven't already, all-weather floor mats and a bed mat will be among the most useful 'mods' to purchase, aside from quality tires based on your needs/wants. Enjoy!

Welcome to the forum. If you want that grille keep your eye on Craigslist as they come up frequently.
