Just bought a 2017 Tacoma TRD Off-Road and I am liking it so far. It already came with some accessories and a premium package. My previous truck was a 2008 Honda Ridgeline. I already kind of miss the truck because of the interior space. It has a lot more than the Tacoma but I won't miss the limited off-roading capabilities the Ridgeline had. Last summer I took the Ridgeline to a moderate OHV road and the transmission overheated 30 minutes into the trail. The next day we took my friends Tacoma and it made it to the end of the trail no problem. After that experience, I was sold on having a Tacoma. I can't wait to have many adventures with this truck like I did with my Ridgeline. I did a long road trip with my Ridgeline taking from San Francisco to Utah where all the arches are at. Then drove to Aspen, Colorado... Then to Nebraska and back and it was comfortable the whole time. I am going to do another road trip this May, but probably add some more OHV roads to the mix.
I plan on doing some mods to the truck but nothing major. First thing first is tinting the front windows.

Thanks all. I will enjoy this truck. I already got the front windows tinted and order a bunch of small stuff on Amazon to make the taco look a little bit better. If I have time next weekend I will probably paint the grill and V6 emblem in the back black.

Sweet. Welcome to the club. I had a 2012 Ridgeline so I know what you mean about the interior space.

Yeah, I still miss it. lol. I had a bunch of slings and shackles in the trunk also but now I have nowhere to put them. What made you switch?
