    Hello everyone!

I recently bought a Lunar Rock 2023 Tacoma Off Road, and I love it. It is my first 4WD vehicle, and I am still getting used to the transition from a *heavily* modded 2017 Mustang GT. So far, it has been a fun and rewarding experience

I've been lurking this forum for a few weeks. Lots of activity here, and learning lots of stuff from Tacoma "veterans" and getting ideas for mods!

The traction systems in the 4x4 Off Road will impress you very much and even more if this is your first 4x4. Still, keep in mind that deflating the tires when off the highway is very beneficial: smoother ride and less chance of tire punctures from sharp rocks. Obviously, a deflated tire greatly improved traction for hill climbing and 'flotation' in deep sand or snow.
Multi-Terrain Select (MTS) + Crawl Control or the former A-TRAC (that my 2010 has) turns the Tacoma into a tank off road [it will go anywhere]!

I share this from my 55+ years of driving off highway and in the sands of Baja.
Get a fast air pump to refill the tires when you return to pavement or get off the beach.
I use the MV-50 pump as it is both inexpensive (compared to other quick pumps) and fills my Tacoma tires from 15 psi to 32 psi in under 3 minutes, each.
