Just as a warning, the Cali raised Leds are noisy as shit if you run comms in your truck. Not so much with cb but can be a pain with bubble pack radios, ham radios, gmrs, ect.

Honestly, tires, good recovery hooks front and back, snatch strap, and a shovel. Did fine with that for a long time.

Toss your shopping list. Go off roading, come back in 6 months when you know what you actually want. You're talking about regearing for a stock size 30.5" tire. Slow down.

If you have money burning a hole in your pocket buy some sliders and tires. Personally if I was about to drop 10 grand in upgrades I would put a LOT more in suspension than that kit. What springs and leafs you end up with will depend on how much weight you're adding with armor etc.

And if you're going full broverlander instagram build I don't see a pro grill with raptor lights on your list, which is an immediate disqualification. Personally I like the new '20 OR grill, but I don't make the rules.

You really only need to regear after you up the tire size.

Tires, sliders, skid plate, affordable lift. All you need to comfortably start wheeling

I agree with this. Go off road on some light trails first and figure out what you want. Buy once, cry once.

I ALWAYS recommend armor first, especially if your truck is your daily driver. Sliders and skids first. Protect your truck. Ground clearance will only do so much for you.

No. The truck is made to haul weight. Plus you wheel in low range. The tire size changes the effective ratio. Being an auto I wouldn't really consider a regear until you pass 33s. Some folks have different takes on it.

Tires are a must, lift if you wanted. Get a slimline winch bumper, synthetic would be great for stock (still heavy) but lighter with lighter bumper, less corrosion issues. Would let you play around on your own. The rest can wait. Its a dangerous game browsing around out the gate.

I was kinda thinking the same. How important is the bumper/ winch over say a good set of traction board?

Also, unless you have the money to blow, I'd wait for sales. No way I'd be able to afford everything I've done to my truck if I didn't wait for sales/discounts/group buys.

I bought traction boards first. Saved me a few times. Cheaper than a winch and don't require you to buy a bumper/cradle that can support one. If you are going to be wheeling in difficult enough circumstances by yourself, that you would need a winch, I would go wheel.

Whenever I wanted to do hard core snow bashing during the winter, I'd get other TW dudes with winches to come along to pull me out lol

This is what happens when you get bored at work and are trying to keep yourself from buying more truck parts...

I wouldn’t re gear unless you absolutely have to, keep your build light-ish and don’t go any bigger than a small 33 and you’ll be fine.
