Don't bother modding it. With the almighty coming of the 4th gen, everyone believes all 3rd gen's will be worth less than scrap prices.

Let me know when you want to sell yours. I've got $10, which is $9 more than it's going to be worth. PayPal ready

If you are really going off-road, the BFG KO2 is a pretty solid choice, and the 265/75/16 would be a small boost in size for an extra 1/2 inch of clearance. A 10-ply tire helps avoid flats in gnarly places, and the slightly rougher ride on the road will seem worth it if you've not had to change a flat in the bush in the dark.

If you are limiting "Off-Road" to gravel and not sharp rocks and mud, the Wrangler Territory tires it came with are fine to just keep. Go play in the dirt a bit and once they are worn out, see if you really think you need something more robust.

I second the VLED reverse lights and also did the seat jackets. As first mods, I was pretty happy with how much comfort it added.

I really question how much people wheel if they suggest skids before sliders. The truck comes with a skid. Rear skids aren’t necessary if you’re not a complete doofus on the trail and/or are not literally bouldering your truck.
