    Hello all,

I’m excited to join the Taco party!!! I just purchased a 2019 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off Road 6MT. I got the truck for $33,500 and am wondering if I got a fair, good, or great deal? It has the TRD Skid Plate, TRD shift knob, All weather floor mats, black exhaust tip, black Tacoma badges. So far I am in love with the truck. I think it is by far the best looking midsize truck on the market. Not to mention the resale values are the best.

Let me know what you have and what you purchased yours for.

10% off of MSRP seems to be the going rate. If you got better, awesome!

    Welcome to TW

7 to 12% off msrp is the typical range. Locally you very well could spend more than msrp for a hot color in a popular vehicle or you could get as much as 15% or so off msrp if the vehicle is a model year hold over that is not moving.

Looks are subjective, but I believe the Tacoma is the best overall midsize pickup truck on the market.

Sweet looking truck and welcome to TW!

That's a pretty truck. Good luck on those clear coat scuffs. That color scratches just by looking at it wrong!

You aren't wrong. I baby mine, spray wax it almost every wash (between actual polish and wax jobs), and mine still has areas that are swirled/scuffed to hell. lol

Welcome, and congrats on the new truck she's a beauty!

The price you got for it seems fair to me, you should see the other poor guy. But it's all the things you'll want to beautify it with that are going to kill you

    Cheers!

Yea my wifes Tacoma is the same way. Need to do a good wax this summer.

My 2004 Caddy according to original owner had only touch free washes since it was new. Zero clear coat scuffs. I'm scared to touch it. Lol. It is also silver so it covers scratches and dirt very well. He even documented in a notebook every car wash. The amount of records this guy kept was insane.

This. In my opinion white and silver hide the typical swirls and light scratches the best.
