I've used those too, but now the straps I use have a loop sewn into the webbing, so I just wrap around the risers or forks above the lower triple and hook into the loop - either way works well.

No one mentioned that finding a ditch to back in or a dirt bank makes loading much easier by reducing the ramp angle.

Soft ties are just fine for dirtbikes, but street bikes need something much more intense. Thus canyon dancers for the bigger bikes.

BTW does any one know of or use the system that secures your footpegs and that is all? I can't find it on google.

That pitbull restraint system is nice. As your bikes suspension is allowed to work freely and you don't havt the risk of damaging fork seals.

I thought this system was through the rear axle and not the pegs

Nice bike and nice truck. Ya i have hauled my bike around (dirtbike) and it is a little sketchy. mounted the rings from the back onto the front. Makes me feel a little safer.

Invest in a Bed Buddy! You will not be disappointed. I took about 20 mins to install and it prevents the bed from bending. My buddy has it on his Titan, hauled 3 dirtbikes from Phoenix to San Luis Obispo in Cali...11hrs drive..they didnt move at all!! i got mine for abt $120 I think.

That is a sweet system but I saw one that grabs your pegs, it looks good for dirt bikes, not sure how it would work for heavy bikes.

do you mean the ultimate mx hauler? it mounts on your trailer hitch and holds dirtbikes by footpegs. moto jackrack made the original carrier like this, but i think they stopped making them.
