Hello everyone, I just purchased my first Toyota, an 04 SR5 TRD Crew Cab. It has 112,000 miles. I haven't driven it yet as I'm a paraplegic and have to wait until I get mine hand controls put on later this week (hopefully). However, my wife drove it the 130 miles home and said it drove very good, but had a vibration b'n 63-70mph. I'll go soon and have the tires balanced. I'll also have to find me a keyless remote.

Any tips or suggestions anyone may have for this model would be appreciated. Thanks

 Welcome to the site. Balancing the tires is a pretty good place to start, also do you know if there are any unusual wear patterns on them? let us know. :D

Finally had my hand controls installed in Knoxville TN yesterday and drove the truck home. I am very impressed by the handling, power, and braking of the Taco. Gas mileage seemed to be pretty good as well, much better than the 4.0 Ford Ranger I had a few years back. I posted a pic of the truck as my Avatar. The truck has a number of gravel chips on it and I'm not sure of my best option to cover some of those up. Touch-up paint maybe??? Thanks guys
