Just picked up my first Toyota and first truck today. So far I'm loving it. I'm coming from an Acura RDX, I've always wanted a truck to haul lumber and do some minor off-roading, but wanted some of the creature comforts you get with an Acura. And now I finally have it.
Only issues I'm having are really minor. I've notice the slight vibration at 2100-2300 rpms, but only while accelerating. Doesn't seem present at constant highway speeds, hopefully this doesn't change. I've also noticed a slight hood vibration a lot of people are experiencing. It's not to bad and will definitely have to take it into the dealership in the future to get some new adhesive. Think I'll wait on this until Toyota comes up with a fix. Another annoyance is the light for the Qi charger stays on at night, but that's not a huge deal. Noise levels in the truck are pretty quiet, I can definitely tell when the rear vents open to equalize the cabin, thankfully that's not all the time like some have it.

Yep, so far everything is stock. Just order weather beaters and a bed mat. Next it'll need some tint, and I'll call it good until I can save some more.

Beautiful truck. Don't see many limited.

Did you have the RDX Turbo or the V6 RDX? How does the Tacoma compare in power?

I had the v6 RDX, they are about equal in power (torque and HP) but the RDX is much lighter and quicker off the line. But that's expected (crossover vs truck).

Nice, I got mine there as well. I remember seeing yours there (looked great). So far I've seen only a couple of us '16ers on the road here.

Yours is the only other Limited I've seen in Duke City. Larry Miller Albuquerque is due for a BBP Limited soon, though.

They actually had one in mid November. I went in for another test drive and they had just received it, hadn't even done the dealership check of it yet. Almost pulled the trigger on it but was willing to wait for the MGM. They sold it the next day.

Sweet. Mine was the one they used to train their employees on. They trained the folks at American then trucked it to Artesia to train folks there. The cool thing was I let them know I was interested in it, so they trucked it back to ABQ for me, 9 miles on the odo. Nice folks out there. In and out with the deal I wanted in two hours.

That's awesome. I appreciate the lengths they went through to get mine for me. Got reallocated or trade for from a dealership up in Utah, saved me from waiting another two months. The only thing I didn't like was that it had 135 miles on it. Probably went through a few test drives. Just my OCD nature coming out I guess.
