This is my first Toyota Tacoma & I love it!!! I've always had big lifted 3/4 ton Dodge Cummins & decided I needed a smaller truck for work. This is much easier to get around in & park in commercial parking complexes. I do have to say it is more of a truck than what I thought it was. The TRD Off Road Access Cab has plenty of room along with the bed length. I did put a Snug Top She'll on it along with a Bed Rug in it to keep our vinyl stuff from sliding around and to keep it from being stolen. Is their anything that I need to watch for on this 2016 Tacoma? I've read about the tranny issues but have not experienced anything as of yet. I have about 3800 miles and I'm averaging around 22 mpg on freeway & 19 around town.

A new bolt here, a new bolt there, a new bolt everywhere.
Some people have complained about everything from paint color, to rear diff howling, to crank sensor failing or leaking oil. My best advice is to take everything you read here with a grain of salt. If it's relevant to you and your situation then worry and read other's experience. If not then just read it learn what to look for, but don't kill yourself trying to find something that's not wrong. Enjoy your truck, it sure to give you some great experiences and miles.

I do appreciate the advise & from what I have read, some individuals are very biased along with looking for issues to the 3rd Gen. So far so good without any issues. We do alot of racing and maintenance is most important to us & if any problems arise it will be taken care of. NJCOMA, lol I do like your advice & thank you!!!
