    Hello,

Recently purchased a metallic black 2008 Tacoma SR5 Double Cab with 108k miles.

New to Toyota pickups and TW. With my wife pregnant and my 2000 Dakota having transmission trouble at over 200k miles, it was time for an upgrade.
While I really like the truck, it does need more work than I originally thought.

Trying to find a spare tire carrier/hoist assembly because mine is missing the cable and clip. Found an unused spare on craigslist for a pretty good price.

None of the salvage yards around Atlanta have a Tacoma on the lot.

Taking it to the mechanic to check the transmission fluid (there isn't a dipstick?!) and find out if the way it shifts is normal for the model.
Need to replace the A/C Blower Resistor and connector.
A lot of broken/missing plastic parts, fasteners, etc.
Going to get running boards. Difficult for my wife to get in since it sets up so high, but I knew I would need to take care of that when I bought it.
