    25mph around a right angle turn is seems pretty quick to me lol. I slow way down.

    :burnrubber: The only time I've ever heard of anyone needing to add weight in the bed is during winter sliding around on snow and ice. I'd say either slow down even more while cornering or get some better tires and you should be good to go. Oh, and good job on that big word Chris!:thumbsup:

    I would get some tube sand at Home depot until you need new tires, then buy new tires and get rid of the ghetto.

    BTW, its not ghetto at all, truck owners know whats up.

    I used to have kinda the same problem but I know I was going to fast and my tires sucked, then I bought some BF Goodrich AT and I can still go fast minus the fish tailing...

    Get better tires, make sure they are properly inflated, use less control input (throttle and brake) in turns.

    And if you need weight for driving in the rain or on normal roads- You should avoid snow completely. There are lots of ways to add weight. Get sand bags or a water bladder, cinder blocks too. Only problem with that every pound you add is a pound less cargo or people you can carry and it'll affect your mpgs.

    I agree here. 25 is the speed limit in a residential area, and he's taking corners at that speed, in the rain.

    Sometimes the solution isn't to modify the vehicle, but to change driving habits based on the environment. You cant drive the same way in all situations with out causing unnecessary risk to yourself and others.

    Welcome to REAR WHEEL DRIVE vehicles.

    They all fish tail if you go too fast around the corners in the rain (and sometimes not in the rain).

    Right now, my tires are getting thin and I have to be extra careful around the corners. Because they're getting thin, I'll run lower air pressure in them also.
    29psi instead of 32psi (for example).

    Adding weight will suck up the gas. So, you have to make a decision..... put weight in, go faster, suck up lots of gas.
    OR
    Go slower and save gas.

    too much weight in the back could take away from your front end traction which is pretty important, plus there goes some MPG!! i say SLOW YOUR ROLL!!

    I slide a bit too. Sometyimes I try. My stock tires have sucked from day one, and I look forward to them dying so I can get some better ones. I add sand tubes from home depot for the winter, but with how light the back end is and the rear wheel drive you sometimes just have to take it easy.

    smoked out tails, a few avs parts, and BHLM, Alpine Head unit, 2 12 Directed Comp subs, 1200 directed class D amp, Blackhand Cap, besttop
    I slide out all the time especially due in the rain and the reasoning for this is a combination of my foot, the rugged fails, and the rear being light. The only solution I have found is just to lay off the gas when cornering and to throw a couple rail road ties in the bed.
