For a shot like this, you want to take at least 3 shots...one exposed for the campground, one exposed for the landscape behind it, and one exposed for the sky. All from the same exact spot on a tripod, of course. Then merge the three together in Photoshop, viola. Will have to do some masking with the layers but that'll give you the best result.

Also if you're camera is able to...try a exposing the sky shot for 1 hour or more...you'll get bigger/longer star trails that start to draw a circle as the earth rotates.

Sick build thread man, those hoops on the bumper look great

I've heard Deavers are great but really pricey. I had All Pro Expos on my Tacoma and really liked them. I'd heard mixed reviews on them but I really thought they allowed a lot of flex and downtravel. All around great ride. I've heard of them flattening out as well though. Ask @Mademan925 about them. I think he threw them on.

I think I recognize the shop.. Could be wrong

Can't multi quote on my phone for some reason, this is annoying... but thanks for the tip, I'll ask Nick about that. I remember when you had yours, and enough weight, they were great so they're still on the list. Someone mentioned Alcan as well, gonna make some calls on Monday

I notice my photos get grainy when I increase ISO, so I tend to avoid it, but for night shots it sounds like I need to increase?

I have a t5i, entry level. I have a remote and use bulb, but haven't done more than a couple minutes. When we get some stars I'll give it a try. Appreciate the tip!

They're the most affordable option so far

I'm running those as well, and I like that they don't mind going into negative flex, but they're flat at ride height now. They've been great so far!

I'm very happy with it. It covers all the points that are important to me, and the weight savings over a steel rack are great. Bernhard takes great care of his customers as well
