    Great post. There was a 40 ft wide creek right behind our old house that I would go wade evenings after work. There was every kind of bream in there. Longears were by far my favorite to catch cause they are so stinkin' pretty.

    Also, when the rock bass were spawning, the males get so black it's amazing. You can see a black blur dart out and grab your bait so easily when they are that color, and then watch it swim back to it's hiding place once you let it go.

    Way too hot to go fishing today. I thought about it but when I mean hot it feels like its 95 out there.

    Busted CV boots and lots of squeaks.
    Gonna be a looong week next week. Have to wait to fish my new Helios rod. It rained all week pretty hard so the river was trashed this weekend for fishing. Next weekend looks promising, maybe lay out of work thurs. to go fishing.

    Went chasing redfish today in the kayak with the flood tide. All sight fishing.. good stuff.

    Probably had a shot at 15 or so fish. Hooked 3. Landed 2.

    Maybe if it's nice tomorrow I will try to get the kayak out and do some fishing after the wife gets off work. Hope its some good fishing.
