    Word of wisdom: if you're throwing big boy streamers for big boy trout, remember to change out the 6x tippet for a 1-3x.

    Brand new streamer I had tied up for me last week, fish hit and started peeling drag. After about 10 seconds it just popped. There's now a good fish somewhere in the creek with a $12 streamer hanging off of it :facepalm:

    Its either the weather or spawning but bass here are slow to zero bite...Ive seen a few big ones and they just look at the lure and take off...

    Got my mount back today from the 24 1/2" rainbow I caught back in February!

    That gives me a 22" 6 LB rainbow (left), 23" 6 LB brown, and 24 1/2", 6.1 lb rainbow (bottom) on the wall now.

    He does both. I try to do replicas unless the fish dies (like the 24.5" rainbow did...after trying to revive her for 30 mins)
