Finally happy with my camping/travel fishing setup.
The rods are Fenwick hmg travel rods, each one comes with 2 tips.
The spinning one has a pflueger supreme xt bronze and the rod has a medium tip and medium light tip.
The bait caster rod has (not pictured) a abu Garcia revo sx and the rod has a medium and medium heavy tips.
The tips for both rods are interchangeable between each other. So with these 2 rods I can make a medium light, medium, and medium heavy spinning rod, and a medium light, medium, and medium heavy bait caster rod.
Bag is ylveen sling bag. It holds 3 Plano slim 3600 boxes, leader line, hooks, soft plastics and all my tools. 1 box is light and ultralight hard baits 1 box is larger hard baits 1 box is jigs, inline spinners, spinner baits, chaterbaits, tail spins, jig heads, spoons, and misc weights/terminal

When I take my boat out, I bring my 1 piece rods with me as I have the space, but this setup is great for quick trips and for taking with for camping with the family.

Falls Lake near Raleigh NC. 20 inch 4lbs in kayak using crankbait and 4lb test. Nice way to spend what's probably the last warm day as leaves are falling.

Also caught 3 incher, so maybe they evened out. Beat working anyway...

One of my most fun days I've ever had, took my daughter to rent a boat and fish for some bluegills. Didn't catch any, but it was still a blast.

    Thx Murph!

She had a ton of fun and can't wait until we go again. The giggle she let out when holding the redworms will forever be etched into my memory. She got a kick out of watching the bobber dance around once the 'gills started nibbling.

I remember being around her age and my dad taking me fishing and how much it meant to this this day, so now that I get to be the dad and to watch her experience the outdoors is hard to describe into words.

That Shimano reel is my dad's old reel, which makes it even cooler.

Hey, can y’all help? I’m looking for a handle and nut for an Abu Garcia MaxZ 20, MAXZSP20-C/ABU. I can’t find one on the internet. Can you point me in the right direction for a replacement?

okay. so my wife is visiting family out of the country. I got to go fishing on ST Patricks day. I would have gone Saturday, but I was sleepy from dropping her off at the Airport for the Red-Eye.

I got a warranty kayak hull from Hobie when mine cracked. so this was the maiden voyage. it is better than the one it replaced. it floats level for starter. I bet the old one was warped. whatever..

FISHING!!! my fish finder was not functioning correctly, so I didnt waste time installing it into the new hull. the temp reads 64 deg no matter what. and could float next to a buddy and he would see a bush, and my screen would indicated flat bottom. so I had to remember how to fish without one. that meant using my paddle to probe for depth like a SAVAGE. but I got it done. (sorry, turned the pic black white in a attempt to keep my spot secret). big lake, only 3 people fishing that I saw..including myself.

oh, and my grocery stores Corned Beef from the hot-food-bar sucked!!! I will have a redo when my wife gets back.

shhhh..took the day off tomorrow as well. HALL PASS!!

very cool. I only have one travel rod, but it is a goodie.

I bought it for Brazil Peacock bass, but apparently they (local pro-guides) HIGHLY recommended 6 foot rods for those beast. being there, I get it. short rods are the ticket.

so, I have a badass rod I now use for Stripers in OK..pretty much that is it. haha.. I go to OK in a few weeks. that rod is sick.
