I load up mine using the hoops on the bumper. I set the front of the yak up in the little V created by the center and headlight hoop. Grab the ass end and slide it up onto the roof rack. The bumper hoops keep it pointed in the right direction.

Hmmmm I'll have to give that a try. Last night and this morning I just hulked it up there from the side of the truck.

Got one pike to the boat before he cut me off then not another bite the rest of the time.

I had a trip angler that I just sold...loved it! But i started going on more float/camp trips so I needed more space to haul my crap and give more room for the dog to sit so I picked up a Old town Guide 112 Solo canoe and it's badass! I sit pretty high in the water since I'm not as heavy as my boyfriend but I'll just use 2x2's and drop the seat bracket down and be ready to go!

Took another stroll on the lake with the GF's Dad and picked up this bass on the troll. First fish in the new boat.

It's so nice to be able to hit the water without a loud motor or needing a ramp. A $99 fish finder makes it so easy to hit the drop offs and find the brush piles.

Bilstein 5100s up front with OME 885s, rear Add-A-Leaf, LED lights (tails, dome, map, plate lights), Kicker 8" in custom fiberglass enclosure under back seat, Kicker speakers throughout and Kicker amp for sub, Pioneer DVD Player, Satoshi Grille with Devil Horns, Leer 100XQ.
I've used my Wilderness Systems Tsunami 145 a few times for fishing on long trips out. Has a bunch of storage space and is stable as hell. Plus the rudder makes it easy to track without using the paddle. But, selling it now.

You're not nervous of hooking the side of the boat and tearing a hole?!

Bought a catfish setup this evening to go after some cats behind wing dikes in the whirlpools. Can't wait to try it out.

I got an ocean kayak that I plan on fishing the chesapeake bay with. Been fishing lakes and rivers with it for a while. Anyone familiar with the bay?
