    Those carbon fiber drags are awesome. And you can’t go wrong with braid as long as you use a fluoro or mono leader. Uni to uni is the best join knot there is for small pound test braid to fluoro or mono.

    Had a super cool experience today. Guy brought me a reel he said used to belong to Dave Marciano from Wicked Tuna. It’s clearly had some giant fish as the gears have a bit of wear, but it was in great shape. Absolutely beautiful piece of machinery, an Accurate SR-30 TwinSpin. Had a stupid amount of grease packed inside, but none on any of the gear teeth.
