    yeah see yours are a perfect example for the angle for traveling i am using mine for when im parked by the water i can cast out and set my rod in the holder and have a lower angle on the line so it doesnt reflect as much light

    I was thinking thats what you were going to do with them, but i got some other rod holders that i can set in the sand or where ever i need them.

    That would all depending on what's running and what bait fish are in the area. I guess shrimp and squid would work. The best bet would be to talk with the tackle shops to see what they say - hopefully their honest.
