Stuff I Think Makes it Better
    Hey guys and gals,

Its snow season, here in SD, and I am having a problem that I cannot seem to fix and figured I'd ask the masses.

So my 13 TRD Sport is having a hell of a time driving in light snow, snow, ice, hell even rain. What's happening is that the rear wants to keep slipping while driving. Now before the whole "learn to drive, or drive slower" comments start, this happens at speeds as low as 10-15 mph as well as higher speeds. Also, I have a cap on the back and ~100 lbs of cat litter bags in the rear for weight.

When I say slipping, it's pretty much like fishtailing.

    The specs:
King 2.0 Ressy Extended Travel in Front
    JBA UCAs
    12" Billy in rear
    Dakar Springs
    Re-Geared
    285/75/16 Destin AT tires

What I was wondering was, could rear alignment have something to do with it? It seems like the truck is dog tracking and when it hits snow/ice it wants to kick out. I'm taking my truck in for alignment this weekend, but I just now found my previous alignment and attached the numbers.

Besides that, I'm racking my brain on what it could be. Its definitely not driving right and getting unsafe to drive (especially with 2 kiddies). Thanks in advance!

I had a 1st gen that all of a sudden one day the rear end would come out from under it in snow and mud. I thought it was front alignment. Had it aligned and same issue. After a few weeks I realized the rear leaf spring pin had broke and the leaf springs had moved a little off the perch. Not sure that’s your issue just a thought.

Because you are driving on snow and ice with a rwd vehicle.
