Rephrase that, I know what a Pop n Lock is, but they make one with a camera in it?

I couldn't find the clamps that used keys at Lowe's or Home Depot, found it at Autozone. The only one I found at lowes could be undone with a screwdriver, which the said jacker probably has on him.

I replied to his picture with

I actually need a newer tailgate, one with the camera….u don’t have one of these do you? I assume you have multiple because your ad says any color.

    If so, pic pls

    He replied with:

I do not have one actually. But I can look around the shop to see what kind we have. What color were you looking for and what year and is it a Prerunner or no?

I used a hose clamp and faced the head of the screw toward the front so if you want to take it off you need a wrench.

Hey I did that once, took off the tail gate, since I was going on a 4 hour road trip and have a double cab it fit just fine with the front seat fully reclined. (Seat belt on of course.) I put the tg on the passenger seat.

I did it to see if I noticed any difference in gas mileage, with out wind resistance (according to other ppl. Well I noticed a difference alright, in decreased gas mileage. Although the fact that I was driving against the wind most of the way might have had something to do with it. (shrugs shoulders)

Great idea, I may do that to mine even though I have the key. (The keys aren't exactly Houdini proof)

Actually, You lose mpg with the tg off because the air comes over the the top and pushes down on the bed. With the tailgate on, it makes a circle in the bed and the air just flows over the whole truck (if that makes ANY sense). Anyway, you'll improve on gas mileage if you put a net in place of a tg.
