Thought I would add my opinion here. I used the supplied screws, and secured into the headliner without any issue. No drilling required, and I used the tape as well. If I were to remove the camera you would never know there had been anything installed there, the screws are tiny and if removed the headliner material would be self healing after a little rubbing with fingers. I'll attach a photo a little later. Just putting this out there so that folks know they have a good option with supplied mounting hardware.

As Promised, few pics of rear cam install using supplied cheapo screws and double sided tape. Works for me in the scorching Florida sun.20221029_110620.jpg 20221029_110628.jpg 20221029_110637.jpg

I would have ordered that one in the first place if I was aware of the mounting differences.

got the front cam installed today and looks to be working well. it automatically records when you start driving? or do i have to manually start recording in the Chinese spyware app? do you have collision sensing detection set to low, med, or hi?

that cover was a pain the ass to get on. thought I broke it a couple times trying to fit it into place.

still waiting to install the 360 rear cam they sent me. got to figure out how to route the cable to the rear window. also noticed that the "1080P" cam i ordered is actually filming in 1440P.

it's nice they included a microsd to USB adapter.

i am having an issue with the app. when i first got the camera I was able to play recorded videos through the app without downloading them to the vehicle. I formatted the card properly and now I am unable to play saved videos without downloading them first. Makes it hard to know what saved video I need to download if I recorded an accident or something.

I installed Fit Cam X today and it was a 5 minutes install as others have said. My camera was defective and would only flash a red light and my iPhone 8 could not or would not recognize the camera to connect.

Tried the trouble shooting instructions in owner’s manual, reset camera to factory settings, turned off Bluetooth, turned off cellular phone data, removed SD card, uninstalled and reinstalled fit cam application, disconnected and reconnected camera twice.

Tried to contact the company customer service with no response due to different time zone. I searched online and could not find a solution and gave up. I bought mine from Amazon so I got a full refund, but wasted two hours of time today.

Was not worth the headache of waiting. The red light is probably an indication I received a defective camera.
