I got a 99 Tacoma, 3" Toytec, Headstrong UCA, newer Tacoma/4Runner wheels, and new Federals. The tires are hitting the top of the spindle/UCA. Anyone have this issue? If so, what size spacer did you use to correct it? I'm assuming 1" is sufficient and that's what I plan on using, just curious. image.jpgimage.jpg

The issue is obviously the backspacing which for the TRD Sports is 5.5". The stock backspacing for 1st gens was around 4.5". Now with that said a 1" spacer will put it back to a stock stance. I have 1.5" spacers which helped the problem a lot and gave me a little wider stance.

Thanks. I might just go with a 1.25" if they have it. I'd like a little more room there, but don't really like the idea of spacers, so I'd like to get just enough.
