Maybe just start with portion control. No need to have a full plate of pasta. And try whole wheat.

I have tried portion control before. Doesn't work for certain types of people. That's why when I felt I needed to get into shape I cut EVERYTHING wheat, oat, grain and dairy out. Lost weight quick. Now, I'll probably gain some back as I re-introduce some items back in... But the feeling I had to be in that shape is amazing.

This is just a sugggestion, but you should start an EC stack aka Ephedrine+caffine. take about 12.5mg E and 100MG caffine in the morning or noon, it will cut your appetite and rasise your BMR for fat burning, just take 1 dose tho, because you just want to curve appetite most people take 2-3 dose to bring up BMR to burn more fat, but 1 dose for you should be good. Caffine and Ephedrine can be found in your local drug store, E is hidden as (bronkaid or primatene). only do this if you have a good heart health, because they are stimulants. Im like you a big guy who likes to eat so i use this on days where i feel like pigging out.

That's the easiest way to do it. I tell people all the time that's all they need to do, but they think it's crazy and unheard of. Like grain is some type of necessity.
They'd rather try and measure portions, calculate crap out, and ultimately be miserable or fail.
You can try all day long, and as long as you're not immobile, you're not going to over-eat on that diet. I've tried. Spent about two weeks eating massive amounts of food and I mean eating until uncomfortable, in prep for a military course, and managed to gain only about five pounds.
To each their own I guess.

That's why you don't really have the coconut taste. Louana is very low quality coconut oil. The stuff from trader joes and about every other coconut oil is usually higher quality and you can taste it and smell the difference. You also pay a lot more for it. You're probably looking at $30 for good quality coconut oil in the same volume as a bottle of louana.

Hmm the stuff I use doesnt have a flavor. I was skeptical at first bc it was called "coconut" but it tastes no different than olive oil.

I wouldn't start using that kind of stuff until you get into a workout rhythm. I would cut all the unhealthy foods for a month, and when hungry eat veggies or nuts (not peanuts, they are a legumes).

Unless you can find it on sale, I've found Amazon to be the cheapest. Seems like all the health stores price that shit like gold.

The best thing about eating this way is the gym isn't a "must" to lose the weight. It AIDS in the weight loss really. I just go do cardio right now. Once I cut the weight I want (another 15) I will go back into lifting. When I get to Seattle, I may try out crossfit... my elbows and knees will hate me, but I don't really care at the moment.
