Same here. But some ingredients call for oil.

a quick pic of some of the heathier alternatives that we use in our house.

Liquid aminos - replaces soy sauce
Mrs dash is great because it doesnt have salt
I use agave nectar as a sweetner in my coffee
coconut oil - all around good stuff and has many health benefits
Local honey - I love honey! I also have bad allergies so I use this to help relieve some of my severe symptoms
Sriracha - I love hot sauce...any kind really. Cholula is my favorite though. It contains vitamin C and will also speed up your metabolism

EDIT to add: I was just doing some research on the liquid aminos and Im pretty sure I wont be using them any more.

I hate trying to avoid salt. I love my seasonings on steaks and what not. Hot sauce also has an abundance of sodium. I guess I can't really CUT all my spices/seasonings out so I'm not doing full paleo.

But, 1 week in I have lost an inch around the waist, 6lbs and my skin/health feel better already.

FINALLY! A list I can read without seeing 800 comments about why each could and couldn't be considered paleo.

But, I still use hot sauce. May not be strictly paleo, but guess what? I'm still losing weight. Salsa also is in my diet.

    :D

I make a batch of home made salsa once a week usually. I might have an addiction.

I like to grow all the proper ingridients to make my own during the growing season but we are in a stage 3 drought so I dont think Ill be growing a garden this year :(

What program/app are you using to track your intakes? I'm using myfitnesspal to track my macros. If you get behind in tracking, it can ruin your day when you find out what your at.

We are in a drought as well up here. I really need orders back to the pac-norwest so I can get this stuff more readily. I miss farmers markets that have more than meat and potatoes.

    This.
The only thing you need to really do to lose fat is to be in a caloric deficit. To put it very basically.

That cantina bowl is good tho :D

Anyway here is today's intake, cutting has been shitty, eating too salty getting too much water retention. too much school work not enough gym time. :(

You will man, just stay consistent......you have a pretty decent build now, you don't want to look like a puffy bodybuilder! Stay lean and thick, no offense to bodybuilders.
