So I have a brand new 5 speed 2002 tacoma 2.7l with 4wd and I wanna lift it to be able to fit 285/75r16 so as of now my plan was for a 3.4 tacoma and bilsteins. I realize that you need different springs what are they? Do I need UCA's for the bilstein 5100 with lift? my wheel size will be 16x10 4 in backspacing with -38mm offset so will I need spacers I do not wanna lock at full turn.

You can fit 285/75/16 with a fairly minimal lift fyi. I have 2" and aftermarket bumper and fit 285s.
Not sure on specific part # but several sites will have plenty of different options with a quick search. A lot comes down to how much you're willing to pay.

Nothing about a 1st gen is brand new. The options you are talking about have been around as long as your truck. A search will go a long way in helping you determine what parts you need- It's all been discussed over and over and over and over and over and over for the last 20 years.

In general, a coilover (as opposed to a drop bracket) lift will not help you clear larger tires for an IFS truck. The "lift" just changes the preload, which in turn changes where the suspension sits within the unchanged suspension geometry.

You're 4x4- lifting over 1.5" WILL increase the wear on your CV boots. If you're lucky and your truck still has OEM CVs do everything in your power to keep them, and replace the boots when they tear. OEM CVs are stronger and better than the easy to swap in parts store alternatives.

To run those metric 33s (285/75) you'll likely need to hammer on the pinch weld or install a 1" body lift. One is more destructive than the other, and neither are great.

I would try to find wheels with the proper back spacing and offset over running a wheel spacer.

Are you going to take this rig offroad, or just going for mall points here?
