It's got a cop motor, a 440-cubic-inch plant. It's got cop tires, cop suspension, cop shocks. It's a model made before catalytic converters so it'll run good on regular gas.
actually the rack is ok because it doesnt require stupid.

its the tires that lead me to believe you have never been off road

What specs are your ray10s? I was gonna run 16x8 et0/4.5" bs. Ray10s are 8 -12 which is obviously lower offset and pokes the wheel out more. Wouldnt that rub less if thats the case?

Why would I ever go off road? Seems kind of dumb to scratch your nice truck just visit a stupid dirt road.

I did 17x8.5 4.3" (i think -12 offset?). Check out my previous post here, moving out will move the corners off the cab mount and suspension but can put against the fender at full lock instead.

16x8 4.5" is definitely the safe way to go if you don't want to cut a lot or anything at all. It's basically the "correct" offset for these trucks.

Yeah your 8.5 -12 is 6mm more inner clearance than 8 et0/4.5". I dont mind trimming the fender liners/plastic. I just dont want to do a CMC if I can avoid it. I'd try for 2.5 caster to move the wheel more forward off the cab but obviously forward towards the fender liner. Since your wheels are 8.5" wide, they are around 15mm more poke towards the outside. Thats probably why your tires hit your liners a lot more.

On a more serious note, no I haven't tried the 35's off road yet. I still have some clearance issues to fix.

However with my 285's I probably have 1000-1500 miles of off road driving on my truck. I'm planning on the rubicon this fall so I have to get the rubbing fixed! I've done just about all of the "hard" trails in Moab on the 285's.

Cool, just an FYI though, with my caster at 3.5/3.9, I'm dangerously close to the cab mount after the chop at full lock. Without the chop I'd be rubbing pretty hard.

Woke up to these and Jjst got this done right before I had to go to work. Pics suck but snow trail pics this weekend . No rubbing at turns or reverse turns does look close to the CMC when I turn my wheel all the way to the right (look at pic). I'll find out when I wheel this weekend if I rub anywhere else at flex . I current have the CMC if i didn't I think it looks like it'll rub. @Biggums

I'm 285/65/18...very minimal rubbing. Little trimming but no CMC

    Just a tad bigger tire
Hello I have a couple questions on tires. I'm running a 16x8 with plus 0 offset with Bilstein 5100s set at 1.1" and I need to know if i can squeeze 285/75/16 in there without having to do a cab mount chop. I dont do any wheeling just regular driving and dirt roads.
