I have some plans similar in nature to what you are doing but was going to lock the alignment out with some square pieces like you have for mock up there. But this pinned bolt and 1/2" adjusters sounds a lot better to me.

Give me a day and I’ll show you the finished product... I’ll bet you $100 bucks you have to have them :)

If it's what I'm thinking it is in my head it sounds like a much nicer and better option than what I was going to do. So not just yes but he'll yes!

In fact I’m willing to bet everyone on the forum that actually wheels their trucks will want them! Jk

I’m not trying to be cocky about it but it’s really that cool and fixes the cam issue. The idea originally started when I had a Raptor and knocked it out of alignment every time it touched the dirt. I ended up using weld washers and fixing the lower arms in a set position. The issue was the alignment had to be done with the heims on the upper and it was pain in the ass. I also hated how loud the heims got and swore I would never do that again on a street driven truck

The only thing better would be to solid mount the lowers and put cams on the upper. Much less force on those bolts.

I may do that, in fact, as adjusting UCA Heim joints is a massive pain in the ass. Let's see your cam solution :)

With these new cams you can put all the force in the world on them and they don’t care. The other thing that’s really neat is instead of needing the special OE cams im using off the shelf grade 8 bolts that can be easily found at any hardware store. In the event that one does break it will be really easy to find spares and replace without needing a new alignment

The front is 3/4” and the rear 9/16”. It’s the largest size the stock bushings will accept

It’s the way Toyota does it... the front cam uses a sleeve with a bolt inside. When you remove the cam sleeve you can run a 3/4” bolt

Yeah it's just odd. What would you thing of going to like a 1/2" bolt then sleeving it to fit in the bushing but running a larger eccentric cam to get a little more adj. out of them?

The cams I’m making are reversible with the bolt hole off centered so you get the entire range of adjustment... 50% range on one side or flip the cam over to get the other 50%
