Fitting 35’s with minimal trimming NOW ADDING LONG TRAVEL AND 934 CV’s

Any rough ideas on the travel length as it is now?

Stock travel with shocks I have and we will see once I throw some extended travel kings

 

Looks awesome, but the wheels and tires are pretty conservative. A wider wheel with beefier tire would more than likely call for a cab mount chop even with all the work you've done.

 

They are 295’s on a 0mm offset, anymore offset on the wheels and the tires would stick way out past the body

I’m gonna do a mild cab mount chop and throw the 35’s on next... the 35’s are also on 0mm off set wheels

 

I think he meant the brand of tire. But again, awesome work man.

 

Thank you! I knew there would be some mild trimming needed to clear the 35’s I just didn’t want to cut my cab mount in half like I’ve seen and beat the hell out of the firewall.

Yes this was a lot of work but in addition to the tire clearance I now have almost indestructible lower arm mounts and custom lockable alignment cams

 

I get it man, I’m all about putting in the work too for a good reward. Just different kinds of work, since I went the tubbing route haha

 

The cool part is I did all the time consuming, expensive work to come up with this stuff and now making more is super easy

 

I want to see this cam bolt set up. After what you said yesterday I have some ideas now. Looks pretty good so far waiting to see what happens with the wider tire package.

Looks good! Though I am mostly interested to see how it drives, with he modified geometry

 

All that’s really changed is the caster to compensate for the lift. Most fix the caster with new upper arms, I did it with the lower

 

Back from lunch... this is the prototype, need to get the final version laser cut

Once the truck is aligned you drill through the top hole in the cam into the lower arm mount and put a bolt in thus fixing the cam in place
