Yes they are in use but the entire winch plate bolts to the new crossmember between the frame rails with 4 - 3/4” bolts. I take pics when it come off for powder coat

MUCH. BETTER. This needs to a common feature on plate bumpers. Get rid of the low hanging and useless corners.

    I have to ask...

When is the last time you hit anything on a HC rear bumper? o_O I'm pretty sure the answer is never.

Idk, I used to hit my rear corners all the time. That was probably the most hit area on all of the bumper. I solved that by bobbing my bed by 14” and now I don’t hit anything. :cookiemonster:

that is not a HC bumper, its a stock sized bumper from Pelfryfail. This is also the reason I went with a HC, which would be even better with flattened corners.

Touche, the PB standard bumper did have very low hanging corners and I hit mine all of the time when I had it. :fistbump: That's one of the many reasons I went HC. The bumper followed the lines of the truck well but lost a lot of function in doing so.

Wow, that came out really nice. It's how it should have come when new, and now looks that way. Just another Monday morning at the office for JD Fab.

I was given the bedsides that were already cut for a high clearance bumper and I had the standard pelf rear bumper so I just made it work. It’s not my first choice but it works. Personally @kasnerd has the best looking Tacoma bumper

    I think so too

If anyone is looking for a HC, 4xInnovations is the answer. They are a TW vendor.

The only drawback is where the hitch pin is located and it traps dirt/water between the square tube and the plate. It is BEEFY beyond belief and I do not recommend dropping it on your toes when moving it after painting, not that I would know *cough* .

Is there a way to still run some form of a mud flap? Even if it is removable for the trail.

I like this one a lot, one off by TC but would look weird w/out that particular glass bedside:
