A little progress on the upper arm today... the inner pivots have a bunch of adjustability so the proper caster can be selected after the lower arm is pushed forward. I’m also using the larger tundra OEM bushings because I hate how loud urethane bushings get and heims are the same. Please keep in mind this is not my main trail rig and I’m trying to keep it low maintenance/quote on the street

    That's what I did because 37s eventually:devil:
My cab leaks a little but there is this magic seam sealer used in the autobody industry to reseal that kinda stuff just like the factory has to when they built the vehicle. I mean if you look at the pinch seam and beat it into submission that stuff cracks and falls off.

This kind of stuff is outside of my realm of knowledge, but I'm always interested in seeing someone attempt to build a better mouse trap. Just because the tried and true method works for some, doesn't mean there might not be another way to accomplish similar results.

Good luck! I'll be interested to see the final results.

Thank you and JD Fabrications is way more than qualified for this project... next up is tackling the lower arm pockets, adding the air bumps and limit straps to stop the harsh drop out clunk

I like where you're going despite the haters. Look forward to where this goes and the pricing associated once complete. Very interested in the concept of tying in the skid and gaining ground clearance. I am very familiar with that issue.

I appreciate the kind words. As for the hate I don’t get it, all I’m trying to do is get a little creative, have some fun doing it and push the boundaries. I’m very fortunate to have some of the best people in the off road industry helping me so I figured why not... if they can build competitive trophy trucks I think they can figure this out!

Oh and I’m also bored since my 81’ is dialed so I needed something to mess with

Interested in seeing where this goes. Props for giving it a go. One thing you also may want to keep in mind is as the wheels move forward the first point of contact becomes the front of the inner wheel well.

I would love to see more pics of that 81’. Here’s how my trimming looks for my 35’s but I still need a cab mount relocation. Wow. Those UCA look incredible

Friend of mine put a 3rz in his pickup, seems like that may be the more reasonable route to go considering it’s basically an adaptation of the 22r. Also it’s bulletproof and torque comes on pretty quick.
